Opposite the Cavern is a life size statue of John Lennon leaning in front of the Liverpool Wall of Fame highlighting the names of all the bands who appeared at the club between 1957-1973. Then close to the entrance of Cavern Walks Shopping Centre is the original entrance to the Cavern with a display of photos and history.

“Art is to architecture like lipstick is to a gorilla.”

Lord Norman Foster

Cavern Walks’ architect David Backhouse did not agree with Lord Foster’s attitude to modern architecture. With a background as a potter, David wanted to use Cavern Walks to show that art and buildings can compliment each other and work side-by-side. This sculpture can be seen over the opening of the Cavern Walks’ car park on Harrington Street.

After all of that you'll fancy a coffee, a meal or a light snack, so relax in Chantilly's Café and take in the ambiance.
